(Un)expectedly expecting

As part of our advent series, we follow the story of Mary today, who in many ways was the expected but in other ways the totally unexpected woman chosen to be the mother of Jesus. Her ordinary life was turned upside down by an encounter with an angel and despite the risks, she willingly agreed to join in with God's plan for the world.
