Global Prayer Group
We have a Global Prayer Group that meets, generally on the first Monday evening of the month here at CBC at 7.30pm, to pray for different missions and individuals we support as well as other people serving overseas with missions that are personally known to us. This Global Mission Prayer group is overseen by Ruth Mortimore. Anyone is welcome to join us in praying. Please just turn up. If you’d like any more details please contact Ruth Mortimore directly or via the Church Office.
CBC’s Disaster Fund
We have a Disaster Fund which enables us at short notice to respond to any disaster across the globe and send money to Christian mission organisations working in that particular area. In recent years we have been able to respond to appeals in response to earthquakes, wars, and famines, often routing these gifts via Tearfund, BMS World Mission or other local Christian mission agencies.
